Reading

Art a few years ago and I suffered a financial blow. Some investments that went bad and we had lost almost all our savings from all life. I was too busy taking care of 3 young children at the time and had no idea of \u200b\u200bthe looming financial danger on the horizon.

That was until Art came home one day and the countenance of his face spoke of total defeat. How could we have lost so much? He was wise with our finances. Was investigated. He saved faithfully.

stop in the lobby, I stood stunned as Art gave me the news.

My reaction may have taken many different directions. I was upset. When Art first talked about making these investments, I told him I had my reservations. But in the end, I let him take the final decision.

I love you today when we have nothing. I love you for who you are, not what you have. "

few years after Art and I were on the radio program Focus on the Family with Dr. Dobson. The Art program asked: "I know you and Lysa had a rough start in their marriage. But what happened that made you know that you would stay by his side forever, no matter what? "

Without hesitation, Art was my reaction to the lost investment. ;

I cried.

If that had responded in my own flesh, could have led us down the road of marital disaster. However, because God's response was stored in me, this brought us closer than ever.

I realized how crucial it is that we are always aware of God's preparation in our lives. Since he is our yesterdays, our today and our tomorrow, he sees everything. And he knows the perfect way to prepare our hearts for each situation.

When we accept their preparations, including a girl with gunpowder in the blood as I can react to honor God and give life to relationships.

Dear Lord, remember me pause before reacting. Sometimes the stresses of life pull my emotions, which causes reactions that have torn my relationships. Please forgive me for the bad reactions from my past. Thank you for second chances. Thank you for the way you prepare my heart for all that you know that I will face today, tomorrow and every morning that I have to go. In the name Jesus, amen.

Steps for implementation:

party to accept their preparations is to pray so that God will be my focus instead of my circumstances. Here are some sentences that I've been inspired to do:

God, despite my circumstances, I find reason to praise.

God
even when I feel disappointed by what life brings, sucrase trust in you right from wrong.

God, whatever happens, I'll hold you and your truths.

God, my desire the deeper you have more than me. And if that is the wish of my heart, I'll never get disappointed.
