"L or leaving the person is what pollution ". Mark 7:15 b (NIV)
Reading:
Many Women do not like feeling dirty. prefer bathing, perfuming and dusty! But it takes more than dirt to tarnish a heart and a lot more than perfume for cleaning.
Jesus told the people: "... what comes out is what the person ... Because of pollution in the human heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from within and defile the man "(Mark 7:15 b, 21-23, NIV).
is easy to understand why the Lord would mention the so-called "big sins" such as murder, adultery, or we get dirty theft. But Jesus also spoke of some sins seemingly "small" as arrogance, envy and selfishness. These are sins that often covered with a perfume and powders with good smell.
arrogance The dictionary describes as "displays of superiority or self-importance, or overbearing pride." At first glance we think that this does not apply to us, but if we let the Holy Spirit into our hearts point reflector, we can find moments where we thought, "Well, at least I'm not TAN bad "or" It's impressive that the children will have gone so good. "
Envy is also very slippery to hide in our hearts. is the feeling of discontent when it comes to convenience, success or possessions of another. Your friend has a new car, new flat screen TV or a better house? And it makes you see her or his possessions with contempt? If so, that's envy. Huy!
is also greed, excessive desire for possessions and property. may think that we are not excessive in our desire to have things, but how much time we spend trying to make more money? How are stingy with what we have? Compared with what they have most countries, we here in the United States live in abundance, yet seem to always have our eyes focused on wanting more.
What would make these three definitions and clean a little?
"No arrogance: a kind of selflessness shows
-No-envy: to be completely satisfied with all my blessings
-not-covet: an excessive desire of God and His righteousness.
That sounds like a pure heart! So today I challenge myself with the words of Jesus: "It is what comes out of man, which pollutes it." Today will order my mind to be non-arrogant, not jealous and do not covet. Yes, today I live with a clean heart.
Dear God, thank you for your light shine in my heart that I can see where it is not clean. Show me those sins with which I get dirty and clean from the inside out. In Jesus name, Amen.
